Learn about the characteristics of emergent readers and how to use the Emergent Reader Electronic Lesson Plan to address their needs, who are just developing a concept of word in text, and with whom memorized rhymes or songs are the best tool for analyzing letters and sounds within text. Provides a general overview of the Emergent Reader ELP, including lesson components and length, group size, materials used, and how to access sample rhymes and activities.
