Get an in-depth look at this pivotal component of emergent literacy. Participants will learn how to correctly administer the PALS Concept of Word tasks, as well as how to analyze students' concept of word data. Also provides a step-by-step lesson framework for small group instruction for concept of word in text, as well as activities to help build students' reading vocabularies.
